Sassafras KeyServer

Sassafras Software's K2 (KeyServer) license management system provides not only concurrent (floating) license support for Geneious but also sophisticated license management and auditing capabilities. Please visit the Sassafras website for information on the capabilities of KeyServer. Managing Geneious licenses with KeyServer offers the following advantages over using regular concurrent licenses:

• No need to register the license key on every computer on which Geneious is installed
• The license can be used over multiple subnets
• Comprehensive management and auditing capabilities.

If you wish to manage Geneious licenses with KeyServer, you will need to inform us at the time of purchase in order to get a special KeyServer-compatible license key. This is not the same as a regular concurrent license key. You will also need to make sure you have a version of KeyServer compatible with Geneious. KeyServer is not shipped with Geneious but can be purchased separately from Sassafras. Geneious is compatible with version 6.1 and later of KeyServer under Windows, and version 6.1.2.3 and later under MacOS.
