Question about Geneious: Multipe Genome Alignment

I would like to do a whole genome aligment of 8 bacterial genomes and then find regions that have the most resolving power. The regions can not be larger than 800 base pairs. Is this possible with Geneious?

Select the sequences you want to align, and then select 'Alignment' and you'll see Mauve offered as one of the alignment methods. Depending on the speed of your machine you could wait a fair while for the alignment to complete though.
