With Geneious Server, you can free up the RAM and processor power of your desktop computer by offloading large-scale computation from Geneious Pro running on any operating system, Mac, PC or Linux to access powerful Linux-only algorithms. Geneious Server was designed with security and data sharing in mind, keep what you need private, or share raw data and results easily with multiple members of your team.

Description of Geneious Server
Geneious Server runs on 64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS, and integrates peer-reviewed and trusted algorithms such as Bowtie, BWA, Velvet, TopHat and others, so that you can run your analyses with confidence, knowing that your research is transparent and reproducible. No black boxes!
As a stand-alone unit, Geneious Server uses Oracle/SGE to schedule every job as an execute host. Additionally, Geneious Server has been designed to connect to clusters running SGE, LSF, and PBS from an appropriately configured submit host. You can harness the power of your institutions's HPC or supercomputing clusters from your desktop.
Integrated with a Server Database, Geneious Server will offer increased security and administration of shared resources. Setting up is easy – Geneious Server supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database systems.
