Transmembrane

Predict transmembrane spanning regions of proteins

Requires Geneious 2020.0+

Predict transmembrane helices using Transmembrane Hidden Markov models (TMHMM). Output can be displayed as a graph or saved as annotations on the sequence.

Install the plugin by downloading the gplugin file and dragging it in to Geneious or use the plugin manager in Geneious (under Tools - Plugins in the menu).

Once installed, select a protein sequence and choose Annotate & Predict - Predict Transmembrane Regions from the menu to annotate predicted regions on the sequence. To view results as a graph, turn on Transmembrane Prediction in the Graphs section of the controls to the right of the Sequence view.
