How do I renew my existing subscription?
If you have a Geneious Prime Personal or Group subscription, please log into My Account.
For all other products, please contact us.
What happens when my subscription plan
expires?
Geneious Prime reverts to restricted mode when the
subscription has expired. In restricted mode you can
view your data and import and export your files,
however most other functions are disabled.
What is the
difference between a personal and group plan?
A personal plan is for an individual’s use only so
you will need a separate license for each user.
Geneious Prime can be activated on up to two of the
license holder’s computers (eg. at home and at
work), but will only run on one at a time.
A group plan is for teams. The number of activations purchased equals the number of installed physical (non-virtual) machines.
What is the best option for commercial
users?

Do you offer course licenses?
Yes, we offer educators using Geneious Prime in
their courses free licenses for their students. Request
a course license.
Am I eligible for student
pricing?
Students currently enrolled in undergraduate or
postgraduate degrees can use student licenses. A
student license can only be owned by an individual
as opposed to a University department.
Can I pay by purchase order?
Academic and corporate plans over $750 US may be
eligible for purchase with a PO. Please contact us to confirm if your order qualifies.
