Purchase Geneious Pro 5.5

Sassafras Software's K2 (KeyServer) license management system provides not only concurrent (floating) license support for Geneious but also sophisticated license management and auditing capabilities. Please visit the Sassafras website for information on the capabilities of KeyServer. Managing Geneious licenses with KeyServer offers the following advantages over using regular concurrent licenses:

If you wish to manage Geneious licenses with KeyServer, you will need to inform us at the time of purchase in order to get a special KeyServer-compatible license key. This is not the same as a regular concurrent license key. You will also need to make sure you have a version of KeyServer compatible with Geneious. KeyServer is not shipped with Geneious but can be purchased separately from Sassafras. Geneious is compatible with version 6.1 and later of KeyServer under Windows, and version 6.1.2.3 and later under MacOS. Please note that these minimum requirements apply to both the client and server parts of KeyServer. If you wish to manage Geneious licenses with KeyServer under Linux or Solaris, please contact us.

Subscription licenses provide full use of Geneious Pro for the duration of the subscription (e.g. 6 or 12 months) starting from date of issue. Support and upgrades/new releases are included for the same duration. Thereafter you may opt to renew your subscription at the then current prices.

One-time purchase means you can use Geneious Pro forever. Support and upgrades/new releases are included for the first year. Thereafter version upgrades are 20% of the then current list price for the same license type.

1 Month Concurrent licenses allow you to install Geneious Pro on as many Macs and/or PCs as you like on the same network for 1 month, but limits the number of computers that can access Geneious Pro at once to the number of 1 month concurrent licenses you buy. Also ideal for a single computer used by a number of people.

1 Month Single User Academic or Student licenses are available to students or graduates enrolled in a degree program; academic or government research staff and employees; post-doctoral researchers within research institutes or universities. Each license is registered to an individual by name for use on their personal computer(s) for 1 month.

Student licenses are available to undergraduate students and to graduate students enrolled in a degree program.

Academic licenses are available to research staff, employees and post-doctoral researchers within research institutes or universities.

Student and Academic select this option if you wish to purchase student licenses and academic licenses at the same time.

Government licenses are available to employees of government organizations.

Commercialt licenses are available to "for-profit" organizations.

Single User: Licensed to an individual by name for use on up to 3 computers. To license a computer for multiple users, please refer to Concurrent licensing.

Concurrent: Allows you to install Geneious Pro on as many Macs and/or PCs as you like on the same network, but limits the number of computers that can access Geneious Pro at once to the number of licenses you buy. Also ideal for a single computer used by a number of people.

1 Month: Use Geneious Pro for 1 month, ideal for short courses/projects or an in depth evaluation of Geneious Pro. Both concurrent and academic single user 1 month licenses are available. 1 month period starts from date of issue.

Upgrade: For previous purchasers who wish to upgrade their Geneious Pro to the latest version. Upgrade licenses are available at 20% of the current price of your license type.
